Note: If your room plans are printing out as gray blobs or a large gray box.
The newest release of Adobe Flash is causing problems when printing from the Icovia 2D Room Planner. The room plan will print out as a huge gray page with no items or room shape visible. Icovia has raised this issue with Adobe and is actively working to resolve this.
There is a workaround that does seem to work, according to Icovia and our own internal testing: Print in Landscape mode.
Once you click the orange "Print" button for your room plan and the printer window pops up to select the printer, click on "Preferences". This will bring up the options for your printer, and from there you can change from Portrait to Landscape. Unfortunately, each brand printer has its own menus so we can't provide exact directions, but this is usually in either the first screen or in a "Paper Layout" or "Page Layout" tab.
This resolution may not work for some people. If you are unable to work around this with the above instruction you can download an older version of Adobe Flash (Version 10 for example) and roll back your version following the download and instructions here: Archived Adobe Flash Players
