Shakers brought their religious beliefs and artisan skills to America in 1774. The “purity of living” they embraced can be read into this simply-wrought Night Stand. Thomasville designers, however, have softened Shaker austerity, balancing square tapered legs with the gently arched shaping on the front and concave edges on the lower shelf. The Ginger finish (shown) has a more casual feel; the Licorice is more cosmopolitan.
