1934 Trophy Horn Table

Collection: Ernest Hemingway
SKU: 46291-227
On his first East African safari, Ernest Hemingway’s hunting guide, Philip Percival, was an expert who knew where to find the animals the visiting hunters wanted. While camping near Lake Manyara at the edge of the vast Serengeti Plain, Hemingway managed to take in his share of animal trophies. Hemingway’s safari adventures gave him an appreciation for the animals, native cultures, geography and climate of Kenya and East Africa, all of which would inspire some of his most memorable works.
